This Saturday, 25th April, 6:00 pm, at the Ravindra Bhavan film club, Margao, as a tribute to the legendary Asha Bhosle, we are screening Umrao Jaan (2hrs 15 mins) directed by Muzaffar Ali. The film is based on Mirza Hadi Ruswa’s 1899 novel, and it won 4 National awards, including Best Actress (Rekha), Best Music (Khayyam), and Best Playback Singer (Asha Bhosle).
